Back by popular demand, the Sporting Saint Retrieve Dummy brings a classic training favourite back to the field.

Designed around the shape and profile of a game bird’s body, this rugby ball-style dummy encourages a more natural pick-up, hold and carry than traditional cylindrical dummies. Available in both Pheasant and Partridge designs, it helps bridge the gap between standard training dummies and real game, making it an excellent tool for progressing young dogs and maintaining variety in more advanced training programmes.

Each Retrieve Dummy is fitted with a short throwing cord, allowing for effortless distance throwing and accurate placement during training sessions.

The unique shape creates a different challenge for the dog, encouraging better mouth placement and concentration on the retrieve. It is equally at home on land or in the water, where its shape and profile make it particularly useful for water retrieves, helping dogs gain confidence when picking and carrying bird-shaped objects from ponds, lakes and rivers.
