Rytex Gundogs
At Rytex Gundogs we handle selectively bred dogs for ourselves and people throughout the country. After more than twenty years trialling, we have won the AV Spaniel Championship a record-breaking seven times (six British and one Irish), and the Cocker Spaniel Championship four times in the last seven years.
We are Ian and Wendy Openshaw, and we have made up Champions which include Springer and Cocker Spaniels and Labradors.

A Brief History
At the tender age of 15, Ian Openshaw won his first Open Qualifier with a Springer. Between them, Ian and Wendy have made up 90 Champions including eleven Labradors.
To date, there have been six AV Champions which include Rytex Racine, British and Irish Championship Winner.
Others include Poppet of Balscotte, Kenine Tina, Rytex Rime, Whitehope Solitaire and Rytex Roel. The year he won with Rytex Roel was also the year he won the first Cocker Championship with Parkbreck Perfection.
He has also won the Cocker Championship five times with Parkbreck Perfection, Chyknell Goldstar and Danderw Druid, Brookfurlong of Tiptop Jack and the 2015 Championship winner Mallowdale Xfactor. Wendy also won the Cocker Championship with Chyknell Megan.
Ian and Wendy are the only kennel in the country to produce 3 field trial champions last season.
