    More about Nigel Kirby

I am a published freelance photographer, based in South Cheshire, specialising in horse racing, gundogs, country sports, equestrian sports and outdoor events, examples of which can be seen on my website.

Although I have always been keen on photography, I spent many years in the “Corporate World” and so time with the camera was limited.  However, 10 years ago I decided to leave this behind and set up my own photography business … I have never looked back, and I am extremely fortunate to say that my passion is my job.

My photography is primarily focused on two key areas, namely horses and dogs.  I can often be found capturing events for The Kennel Club, BASC and the Gundog Journal and I am also the Official Racecourse photographer at Doncaster, Uttoxeter and Worcester Racecourses.  I also regularly provide cover for the course photographers at Wolverhampton, Hereford and Chepstow. Other racing clients include leading names Olly Murphy Racing, Jonjo O'Neill Racing, Dan Skelton Racing and many more.

I am married to Vesna, and we have three Labradors, two of which are working dogs, and these provide fabulous opportunities for my photography. They have already modelled numerous Sporting Saint products.

I am extremely critical of my own work and provide a high level of attention to detail, creating both a single “flagship” image and a series of pictures that "Capture Life's Moments". This I deliver with a professional and courteous approach and will always go the extra mile to build long-term trust and relationships.

I am extremely proud to be able to offer my time and support to Riding for the Disabled (RDA) and Labradors in Need.

I am delighted to have been invited to be an Ambassador for Sporting Saint and very much look forward to continuing working with the team in the future.
