A little about Scurry Bandits
Our scurries are now entering their 7th year and our busiest to date 35 days which is more than ever before.
The plan is to consolidate the shows and make them as good as we can, building on the past to make the future stronger.
Our aim is to entertain the paying public and to give as much enjoyment as we can to the handler and their dogs.
All the show grounds we visit give an whole host of different running conditions for the dogs to run on and our goal is to try and bring out the best of the ground and therefore test the handler and dog with a variety of different courses.
We would normally run 3 classes Open, novice and junior all at a level that gives them all the chance to succeed and go away feeling that accomplishment was gained by them and their dog.
This year see’s the return of the Best of the Best in Salisbury, along with The Scurrybandits Finals at Sandringham, a new venue for us The Cotswolds Show in Cirencester with the Queen Ann Cup a scurry that promises to go on to be a scurry that will have a “must win” following (this one as the backing of the Countess Bathurst who as promised to present the prizes on Saturday and Sunday . Our longest show that we will be attending is the International Horse Trial at the Glanusk in Crickhowell South Wales 4 days with the overall winner receiving the fabulous the Swiftbrook Challenge Trophy (Harry Legge Bourke will I imagine present the trophy again).
